3D Printing

Settlers of Catan

My first and most ambitious 3D printing project. I printed this Settlers of Catan tileset on a $99 flat packed FDM printer with a build area barely large enough to print a single tile. The entire board is about 75 x 75 cm, and the tiles stick together with embedded magnets.

Unfortunately, my gameplay strategies are less sophisticated than my game set.

Stove Burner Lock

I came home from work one day to find one of the electric stove coils burning red hot on the stove. One of our cats had walked across the stove controls and depressed and turned the knob in the process.

To prevent this from happening again, I printed a simple "lock" that sits beneath the stove knob to prevent it from being depressed.

Voron v2.6211

I sourced and built a Voron 2.4, one of the most advanced hobbyist 3D printers available. Voron printers are designed and maintained by the community.
